Instagram / Facebook / Twitter reposts

How to share posts from other channels

In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to repost posts and stories on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook . In the video you will learn what you need to consider from a legal point of view and how you can easily implement this.

Instagram / Facebook / Twitter reposts - How to do it

The easiest way to share a post you like on Instagram with your followers is to post it to your Story. To do so, press the paper airplane under the post you would like to share. After that, press “Post to your Story” and Instagram will open a preview of the post in the Story. Also, the owner of the post is automatically identified in your story, so you don’t have to worry about rights. Hit your story and you’ve shared the post.

Repost Instagram posts with the app

If you want to share posts in your feed on Instagram, you can’t do that from the Instagram app. But there is a way to make it work anyway. However, you should remember to make the repost recognizable and indicate who the post you shared is from. You can repost Instagram posts with the app “Repost+”.

How the "Repost+" app works

There are many different repost apps out there, but in this article we’ll give you an example using this app. First, download the app from the App Store for free. Once you have done that, all you need to do is copy the link of the post and then open Repost+. You press the “Insert Link” message that appears automatically and you can post the post in your feed.Let’s move on to Instagram Stories. You can only repost a story if you have been tagged in it. If that is the case, you will get a message where you can then find the story and repost it in your story. If you have not been linked and would like to repost a story, there is an option in story images to simply take a screenshot of the story and then post it in your own story with a tag from the publisher.

With a video, you can record your screen and then post the video to your Story. Here, too, the mark should not be missing. On Twitter, you can retweet posts that you want to share with your followers. This will share the post as a tweet and also directly identify the creator of the tweet. On Facebook, posts can be shared with your friends using the “Share” function. Here, too, the author is identified. Facebook Stories can’t be reposted just like that. Here we recommend you to use the same method as for Instagram Stories.

Instagram / Facebook / Twitter posts repost - summary

As already mentioned, you should always make sure to identify the author of the post you are reposting. For the methods for which you use screenshots or an external app, be sure to ask the content owner for permission in advance. This will prevent you from getting into legal trouble.
