Unicorn 2 and JTL-Wawi

You are an online retailer and use real.de as your marketplace? Additionally you use JTL-Wawi and Unicorn 2? Unicorn 2 is the multichannel middleware that allows you to connect JTL’s free merchandise management system to various marketplaces. We answer three frequently asked questions here.

Matching category

The first frequently asked question deals with the exact assignment of categories. Unicorn 2 offers category mapping for this purpose. If you have already sorted your articles logically into categories in Wawi, they can be mapped into categories on real.de. Quite simple and convenient. Another option is to build your own category tree in JTL, for example. This is then made especially for real.de. The basis of both methods is that you group your categories logically in Wawi. In the subsequent transfer, these categories are automatically adopted.

Import of the attributes

Another thing that concerns many multichannel retailers is importing attributes. These marketplace attributes are imported specifically by category in Unicorn 2. This means that Unicron 2 creates category-specific attributes in Wawi. As a merchant, you can then maintain them, and Unicorn 2 will take care of the rest automatically. Such an automated approach takes a lot of work away from you as a trader. You can use this time productively to work on your success in the long term.

Control of additional marketplaces

In general, Unicorn 2 is displayed as a separate online store at JTL. And from here you can also control everything. Because an additional marketplace can be controlled like a store: This marketplace is displayed in JTL-Wawi as an additional store. For you, this means that you only need to check the item or category. Then Unicorn 2 knows that this item is released for the marketplace and takes care of everything automatically again.
