YouTube Reuse Option - What can the new function?

In this article, we will introduce you to YouTube’s new Reuse option, which shortens and simplifies the upload process. YouTube has recently added the Reuse feature to YouTube Studio. This feature was specifically designed to help creators save time in the future. As the name suggests, this allows creators to reuse information from previous videos and not have to keep re-inserting it. For this, the feature was added to the video upload process of the desktop version.

You can use the following details with the Reuse feature from previously posted videos:

The video title
The video description
The language settings
The shorts settings
And the category settings

Simplify upload process with YouTube Reuse option

With this feature, YouTube wants to simplify the upload process and enable users to save time. Creators no longer need to recreate settings in the upload process that have been used in previous videos. Nevertheless, the data from the Reuse feature can also be copied and modified. Some may compare the new feature to the similar Default Settings feature. But the Reuse option is different because it allows you to reuse different versions instead of just one template. The new feature could be especially interesting for creators who regularly post videos on similar topics.
