What are Instagram Stories?
Instagram Stories is one of the features of Instagram that is used millions of times a day by various users to capture small moments in your everyday life and share them with friends and followers. A story has a length of 15 seconds and posted followers can view or react to it. Story stickers can be used to invite the community to interact. Surveys and Q&As are particularly popular among story stickers. Now Instagram has introduced a new Story Sticker that makes Stories even more interactive. This sticker is called “Your turn” and is now available for all users.
How the Instagram "Your Turn" Sticker Works
The theme for the sticker can be chosen by anyone. For example, users can ask for photos of using a particular product or from their last vacation. Users who then see the sticker in the Creator’s Story can submit their answer through it. Photos and videos can be used as a response. The special thing about it is that participating users can also see the pictures and videos of other participants at the same time. In this way, a kind of story collection on a certain topic is created. So the feature offers a lot of potential for community actions.
Instagram "Your turn" sticker - How you can use it yourself
You can find the sticker as usual in the story mode. After you have created a story, press the sticker icon in the upper right corner and you will see all available story stickers. Select the “Your turn” sticker and a window will open where you can write your call. Now you only have to click on finished at the top and you have started the action. Incidentally, Instagram is taking a similar approach to TikTok with this new feature, where the Duet feature is used as an interaction option. With the Duet feature, users can film their reaction to a video and then share it back with their followers. The “It’s Your Turn” sticker can be used just as perfectly to boost your community on Instagram. Additionally, it provides a great way to increase engagement to get more reach on the platform.
