LinkedIn Creator Mode Update
New streaming option and newsletter feature for LinkedIn
The LinkedIn Creator Mode update ensures that you can now also use the new streaming function independent of the number of subscribers, as well as benefit from the new newsletter feature. We’ll show you how to use it in our LinkedIn tutorial.
What is LinkedIn Creator Mode?
In this video, we’ll introduce you to two new options for LinkedIn Creator Mode. One is a streaming option regardless of the number of followers and the other is a newsletter offer. In March 2021, Creator Mode was rolled out on LinkedIn to support users who regularly share content on the platform. If the Creator Mode is activated by a user, then the user will be provided with more options by LinkedIn.
LinkedIn Creator Mode Update - Live Streams even without many subscribers
Now the Creator Mode gets an update with more features. Users who used Creator Mode can now go live regardless of the size of their account. The LinkedIn Live feature was previously only available for accounts that met very specific requirements. Through the Creator Mode, however, all creators now have the possibility to start live streams, which in turn can be shared by the followers. The general trend towards video has not passed LinkedIn by. There, according to a study, videos are shared 20 times more often than all other types of content. The streaming option could therefore also ensure that users get more engagement.
LinkedIn Creator Mode Update - The Newsletter Feature
The second new option LinkedIn is rolling out for Creator Mode is a newsletter feature. When a new article is published, this feature ensures that all subscribers automatically receive push, in-app, and email notifications to keep them updated on the latest content. For all creators who regularly post content or write some kind of blog, this feature should be especially interesting, because the notification system could additionally generate more engagement and a higher reach.
