Safety and overview

If you missed it, you can check it out again, or read the summary in this blog. If you are already using Pickware or have preferred another merchandise management system and the shoe pinches elsewhere, we at eBakery are happy to help you as a Shopware agency. You will find the possibility to make an appointment below.

Pickware warehousing - The summary

Pickware ERP is the easiest way to integrate the entire merchandise management functions into the Shopware administration. There is no need for cumbersome detours such as complex synchronization processes and other sources of error. Proven real-time inventory management reliably avoids overselling on all channels, and intuitive control gives you all the freedom and overview you need to plan your stock. Store and ERP have their data storage in one system and real-time synchronization is easy. The installation is very easy.

Automated ordering processes and work aids

Another popular feature of Pickware is the automatic order suggestions, which allow you to easily create reorders for products that will be delivered to you thanks to automated suggestions for supplier selection and order quantity. Pickware also gives the returns process a very clear structure: you have all returns at a glance and the refunding of shipping costs and other cost items is extremely simplified. With Pickware, you can minimize packing errors and shorten shipping routes: for each order, you can generate a pick list in which all products are sorted by storage location. These and many other automations are the reason why Pickware is enjoying ever-increasing popularity in the e-commerce community.

More control in your Pickware warehousing

Furthermore, Pickware’s analytics tools have a very positive impact on your daily routines and leave you in complete control of the numbers. Topics such as gross profit, the sales ratio or the sales analysis no longer cause you any grief. At the end of the year, you can easily create an inventory valuation and freely dispose of the key date. Shopping is extremely simplified for you thanks to Pickware. You can always see what you need to reorder and receive alerts when products are below reorder level. All orders are stored in the administration with maximum clarity and you will not miss anything.

Create bearing made easy

In this part we will take a closer look at how to create a warehouse, how it can affect the inventory and what to consider. Therefore, let’s go directly to the backend for once. As we already know, the Pickware ERP extension integrates seamlessly into your Shopware store and thus also extends our menu by two categories. What is relevant for us is warehousing. Here we go to the submenu “Warehouses and storage bins”. Regular viewers will already know this view, but we want to go into it again in detail. We see three different warehouses. One bearing of these can only ever be the standard bearing. In our case, that means our main warehouse. The next smaller unit is then the storage bins. You can see which products are in which bin by going into the detail view. There are two products in bin A-01-001 with inventory of 91 and 105. If you go to the product detail view, you can see the total stock and thus determine what proportion of it is in the main warehouse. In addition, the reserved stock resulting from the orders is displayed. Further down you will see a more detailed view of how much of what is where. The third overview refers to the value of goods, hence “valued inventory”. So you know what is your total value of goods per warehouse or the total value of goods of individual products.

Pickware warehousing - The summary

Let’s go through the process of what to do if you want to assign a new product to a new warehouse. To do this, we create a new warehouse here with the blue button. Essential for this are the name and the abbreviation, the rest is optional. So that our product does not lie somewhere right away, but is assigned to a storage bin, we create a new one. Now we put on the quickly a new product. mandatory fields here are the title, the tax rate, the price and the stock. We set the stock to 0 here, you will see why in a moment. If you save, these tabs will also be displayed. We go to the stock and now we have to assign it. First of all, all of our inventory is in the test warehouse, so we have to make an adjustment. We want to store goods, in the test warehouse, in our first storage bin, and we want to store the entire stock of 133. These are now also visible in the test warehouse. If we would now go back to the subcategory “Storage and bin locations” and go to the detailed view of our test warehouse, we would see that the products have been assigned to the correct bin location.
