Change Instagram font to stand out from the crowd
In this blog article, we’ll show you how to add other fonts to Instagram and get creative with them. Whether you want to beautify the caption for a post or the fonts in stories are too boring for you. With these tips, you’ll stand out from the crowd. Namely, it is possible to access other fonts from sites like “igfonts.io” or various apps like “Text Designer”.This works as follows.

For example, go to “igfonts.io” and enter your text in the field at the top. We’ll just use: Instagram Fonts as an example text. Now you can already see that below the window your text is available in other fonts. However, you’ll find a larger selection in the apps. Scroll down and choose a font. Highlight the text in the font you like and copy it. Now when you post, you can paste the text into the caption and your text will appear in the font. The same thing works in your story. Open your Instagram Story, select an image and paste the text. But how this can be done even more creatively, we now show you with the free app Text Designer.
How Text Designer works
You need to download the app from the appstore first. After you open it, you can already see the same principle. Enter your text again in the field above. You also have a wide selection of characters here like flowers, arrows and the like. If you click on the three symbols in the lower right corner, you will get to the characters. If you like a text preview, copy it by clicking the right copy icon. You can also add the text to your post or story now. But now we are getting creative.
Design your Instagram Stories
If you want to create a story with a solid color background and some text, you need to go to “Story” and take any picture. Then click on “Brush” in the upper right corner. Now you get a color palette to choose from. You can also simply click longer on a color to open the complete color palette and select all intermediate shades. When you have determined a sound, tap the screen for a moment. Your screen will now take on a monotone color and you can paste your text.
A creative option now is to play with the text colors. You can select individual letters or words and change their color in the same way as you have already changed the background. Also, you can mix your font with the preset fonts. Just click through the fonts at the bottom above the keyboard. At the top under the two A icons you can add a background for the text and a text overlay. You can test out all the options without essentially changing your font. Of course you can also change the color of the text background again.
Change Instagram font to create a wow effect
Another creative way is to create a shadow by inserting the text twice and overlaying it slightly shifted. To make the texts stand out from each other, all you have to do is change the color and you’ll have a shadow of your own creation.
