Clubhouse App Insight - We take a closer look at the app

After you receive your invitation, the app will eventually look like this. As we find very minimalistic and clean design and reduced to the essentials. Before logging in for the first time, you will have to choose your appropriate topics from several different ones. The algorithm then suggests chat rooms that are currently active. In the upper area you can see who of your contacts already uses Clubhouse and follow them.

Otherwise, you will also be shown people you don’t know who match your preferences or are in your subscribed people’s network, which you can then also follow. The profile area is structured as follows. You will see a profile picture, the name and username of the person, the number of followers and the number of people this person follows. Below that, you can add a description and link to your other social media channels. Again below you can see which person from your network is following this person and by whom this person was nominated, i.e. who invited this person to Clubhouse. At the bottom, the so-called clubs that this person belongs to are displayed. Clubs are, in the final analysis, an association of several people who have an interest in a subject area.

Clubhouse App Insight Rooms - How the chat rooms are structured

We’ll just go into a room now and see the host at the top, below that other speakers who can participate in the discussion, and again below that all the other passive listeners. If we now scroll to the end, we will see the hand button that we can use to symbolize that we would like to speak. With the plus, we can ping other people, who will receive a message and can attend the room.

Structure of the main menu con Clubhouse

Back in the main menu, we click on the magnifying glass in the upper left corner to search and find people and clubs. We can search people from the contact list with the letter icon to invite them To Clubhouse.
With the calendar icon we can see which talk sessions that match our preferences are scheduled for that day. Similar to Instagram, the bell stands for personal notifications, but this does not include messages that would not be possible with the app. But notifications e.g. about who has newly followed you. On the far right you can edit your profile.
