How to pin posts to the top of your profile
How you can pin an Instagram post, i.e. pin it at the top of your profile, is explained in this Instagram tutorial. Now it is also possible to place older posts at the top again on Instagram. Watch the video to find out what advantages this brings.
Instagram post fix - Here's how to pin it
It’s time again for a little Instagram update. In the meantime, a small change with a big effect has been rolled out. What was previously only possible on TikTok is now becoming feasible for everyone on Instagram. We are talking about the Anpinn function for posts in your own profile. But what do you get out of it anyway?
The advantages
The function can be used in different ways and thus has different advantages. In fact, three posts can be fixed in the first row of your profile grid for now. This means no matter when you posted a post in the past, you can now highlight it again in your profile. This also shows us advantage 1. Good contributions can thus be highlighted. These can be ones with lots of likes and comments, or simply high quality content that is important to you.

On the other hand, you could also make a carousel post or video explaining who you are and what makes you special, so that users who come across your profile for the first time know directly who you are, what you do and whether you represent added value for them. Another advantage or application purpose is current events such as sweepstakes. If you have done this in the past, it can theoretically be moved back to the front row, putting the focus entirely on it.
The highlights
But wasn’t that always possible with the highlights. Indeed, but much more cumbersome. Of course, you can still post your story in the story and then create this story as a highlight, which is the first element after your bio in the profile. However, you don’t always want to click through umpteen stories, and you might not want the profile owner to see that you’ve seen the story. How to fix Instagram post
Now that we know that the new Instagram Pin feature, used correctly, only brings benefits, how do you use it now. We tried it with three different profiles, one of which is just a test profile without interaction. The new function was now available on all three. So to freeze a post, go to your profile, click on the post you want to freeze and hold your finger on it for a second. Then you will see the option “Fix in profile”. There you click on it and as you can see, the post has now been fixed, which the pin tells you. This is how it may look if you have fixed three posts above.
