Because in the beginning nobody will know your store, so they won’t come across it by chance and one of the most important reasons to choose exactly dealer XY and not dealer XYZ is trust. We are talking about the classic cold call. This means proactively writing to potential customers. However, it is important to use the right wording, to design the whole thing creatively and to present it in an informative rather than sales-oriented way. The interlocutor should not get the feeling that he or she has to answer just at that moment. That would be too aggressive a strategy, and you could use it only after the customer is convinced. Here, however, the goal is to introduce the product and establish a first contact. If your product is good, the customer will then check out your store on his own. However, since it needs tact and experience here, this strategy rather conceived in cooperation with a marketing agency together.
A less intrusive way would be to contact journalists and bloggers. Because what they have that you don’t have at the beginning is trust.
