However, one disadvantage is that the corporate account cannot be used by multiple people on different devices. Whatsapp Business gives you the ability to pick up your customers exactly where they are online and suggest the right products to them. Promotional emails or videos are often ignored and clicked away. However, a WhatsApp message is clicked and read in most cases. Your business message will appear in your customer’s private chat and will therefore hardly differ from the other messages. Through a chat, it is now much easier to determine what your customer wants and propose solutions to them immediately. There are also some valuable tools to communicate even faster and more efficiently with your customers.
To use WhatsApp for your small business, the first thing you need to do is download the WhatsApp Business app from the app store. Now you need to enter your company number. By the way, this can also be a landline number. So either you need a corporate cell phone, a cell phone with one SIM card and a landline number for your company, or you need a cell phone with two SIM cards. One for your private number and private WhatsApp account and one for your corporate account. If you are now thinking of using your private number for your company account, then you should definitely not do that. This is because WhatsApp forwards all private contact data.

The only difference from the private WhatsApp account are the tools for automating, sorting and standardized replying to messages. You can create a shortlink to start a chat with the customer. For this, the customer does not even have to save the number. You can also formulate automatic messages for greeting or absence.
The Quick Replies feature also lets you create shortcuts. Here you can save standard messages and send them quickly again and again. The “Label” function is also very helpful. This allows you to classify your customers into different categories such as “paid” or “new”.
The “Catalog” function is the most important, because here you can add products and services. Here you can add a picture, name, description and price. In addition, it is of course also possible to specify a product link directly. Now you can practically send your products or the whole catalog to your customers via chat. You do this by clicking on catalog link, copying it and sending it to your customers. You can include a single product as a file in your message. If you work mostly on screen, it can be helpful to use the desktop WhatsApp version to communicate faster.
To attract potential users to this type of communication, you should first of all promote your Whatsapp channel on the company website. Basically, however, every opportunity where you come into contact with customers should be used. Promote your Whatsapp account e.g. via email newsletters, on your product packaging or on social media. Whatsapp Business is worth it for you if you’re a small business owner offering manageable customer service. You can help your customers exactly where they usually are anyway and make better use of your time with saved short answers.
